Bio
Hello and welcome! My name is Abby Arellano. I’m married to my husband, Tony, and we have a wonderful son named Marcelo. I believe in using differentiation to meet the unique needs of each of my students. My goal in tutoring is to create a safe and supportive learning environment where I can monitor student growth and encourage academic success. Building strong rapport with my students is one of the most important ways to achieve this. By developing meaningful relationships, I’m able to better understand how to support each student’s learning needs, while also helping them feel comfortable trusting me to guide them toward their academic goals.
Teacher Specialization
I have been working in the field of education since 2014, teaching students ranging from PreK3 to adults—though early childhood education holds a special place in my heart. Over the years, I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 5th grade, 7th grade, and adult learners. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I have experience teaching in private, public, and online educational settings.
