Bio

Hello, I am Alexandra Rohr, a bilingual educator. I have taught Spanish, English, math, and biology in diverse settings across Colombia, China, South Korea, New Zealand, and Florida, which has given me a strong ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of varied learners. Recently, I served as an ESE Support Facilitator, where I focused on guiding students with exceptionalities, collaborating with teachers, and ensuring compliance with individualized plans. My teaching is rooted in fostering inclusive, student-centered environments that promote both academic achievement and personal growth. I believe it is important for students to understand the value of learning something new and to develop a love for exploration that extends beyond the classroom. In addition to teaching, I enjoy contributing to a learning community.

Teacher Specialization

I have 15 years of experience in the U.S. and abroad, both in classrooms and virtual settings. I’ve taught Spanish, English (including IB MYP), and Biology across grades 6–12. With degrees in Business Administration and Medical Assisting, plus Florida DOE certifications in Spanish K–12, Elementary K–6, and ESE K–12, I love creating engaging, culturally rich lessons. My bilingual background (English/Spanish) and experience with inquiry-based and tech-integrated teaching help me spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage a lifelong passion for learning.
