Hello! I'm Alexis and I am very excited about the opportunity to help students feel successful. I am a certified Montessori guide and an avid teacher of all subjects. Through my career I have worked in many different types of schools and I have found that happy students make the best students. Maria Montessori said, "To assist a child, we must provide him with an environment which will enable him to develop freely." Virtual education has provided the safe and happy space many children need and I am happy to be a part of it.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught all subjects for students in first grade through 4th grade. I have tutored students K-6. I am an avid reading teacher and have a passion for watching new readers blossom. I also have extensive experience in science, especially the natural world.
