Hello I am Alison Lago! I have been teaching since 2005. I have been a paraprofessional, third grade teacher, and reading intervention specialist. I graduated in 2005 with a bachelors in teaching and received my masters degree in 2019 in Literacy Studies. I am a certified Reading Specialist for K-12 students and love everything having to do with literacy! I have extensive experience working with students with special needs, ELL students, and students needing specialized academic support. I also have experience with coaching and mentoring students in academic areas and life skills support. I love forming relationships with my students and their families and strive to bring out the best qualities in the students I work with. My goal with the students I work with is for them to see their strengths and to help build a foundation of ability and confidence within the area of academics and their life.
