Bio

Hi! My name is Mrs. Davis, and I’m excited to work with you. I bring deep expertise in helping students truly understand concepts, and I structure our tutoring sessions using a gradual release model: I model the skill, WE practice it together, then YOU try it independently. This approach builds confidence with any skill and helps you feel capable every step of the way. I believe in creating strong learning relationships where we uncover your strengths and discover how you learn best. My goal is to help students gain genuine confidence through clear instruction, intentional scaffolding, and individualized support that leads to measurable growth.

Teacher Specialization

I offer 25 years of experience teaching 1st–12th grade, with a primary focus on grades 3–8 in math, science, reading/language arts, and social studies. My background includes extensive one‑to‑one and small‑group support as a 1–8 Math Interventionist, where I helped students strengthen foundational skills and build confidence. I’ve also taught in the CTE Teaching & Learning Pathway, mentoring future educators and coaching new teachers. I hold a BA from Texas A&M–Commerce and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction–Mathematics from UT‑Arlington, grounding my work in strong instructional practice and a deep understanding of how students learn.
