I love teaching and tutoring because it's an area in which I have expertise, and I'm able to help others achieve their goals with my skills and education. I have a passion for critical thinking, literary analysis, argumentation, and the effect of words upon a reader. I look forward to helping you realize your unique abilities in the realm of reading, writing, history, social studies, and math!
Teacher Specialization
I have taught middle school ELA, high school ELA, ESL, and grade school ELA. I have tutored in ELA from pre-K through adult, ESL for adults and children, and history and math through middle school. I have a master's degree in teaching and a bachelor's in English Literature. I have taught in the classroom for 3 years, and have been tutoring English, social studies, and math for 5 years.
