Bio
My name is Andre Lawe and I bring over 26 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I combine deep subject matter expertise with a proven ability to unlock student potential. I have guided countless students toward excellence by developing innovative approaches that make complex concepts accessible and engaging. I have a very encouraging teaching style that creates a learning environment where students don't just improve their grades—they discover their own capacity for academic success. Whether working with struggling learners who need foundational support or high achievers pushing toward their next breakthrough, I meet student where they are at and move them meaningfully closer to their goals while building the confidence and critical thinking skills.
Teacher Specialization
I have expertise in teaching Mathematics at all levels including Algebra, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Elementary Math. I also have extensive experience in teaching Science including Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Environmental Science. I have also taught Elementary Reading and Writing. Most recently, I have also taught the AP Capstone course. I have over 26 years of teaching experience and I have a BA degree from Columbia University in Biochemistry/Psychology, A Masters in Education from St. Johns University and a Doctorate in Education from St. Johns University.
