Bio
In my experience, students learn best when they feel comfortable and receive a high level of support. Carefully assessing strengths and needs through formative assessment while offering practical guidance is key. My primary tutoring goals are to build student confidence, foster a desire to learn, and see lots of smiles! I take great pride in seeing my students make progress and feel proud of their accomplishments. Without a doubt, building relationships with students is the most important factor for success. I strive to make myself relatable and show that I'm interested in who my students are as individuals. Some interesting things about me are: I have 3 teenagers(one in college, one in high school, and one in middle school), I'm also a real Realtor and fashion blogger. I tutor in order to share my God given gift with others.

I have 24 years of teaching experience which includes elementary, middle, and high school. I've primarily taught Reading, English, and Social Studies. I also have experience teaching Special Education and Family and Consumer Sciences. I have 6 certifications including All Subjects 1-8, Reading 1-8, ESL 1-12, Special Education 1-12, Social Studies 6-12, and Family and Consumer Sciences 6-12. I have also done private tutoring remotely and in-person at all levels.
