I am an educator from Washington State with over 12 years of experience supporting K–12 students across multiple subjects, with a strong focus on literacy, critical thinking, and student‑centered learning. I believe students learn best when instruction is responsive to their individual strengths and interests. My tutoring goal is to build both academic skills and confidence by meeting students where they are, setting achievable goals, and celebrating progress. I have a deep love for reading and traveling, which allows me to bring curiosity, global perspectives, and real‑world connections into learning. I build strong relationships by creating a supportive, respectful environment where students feel heard, valued, and confident taking academic risks.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in Secondary Education with concentrations in English and American History. I have taught core English classes, English electives, theater, and middle school social studies, with a strong focus on literacy, critical thinking, and student‑centered learning. My tutoring goal is to build both academic skills and confidence by meeting students where they are and setting achievable goals. A deep love for reading and traveling allows me to bring curiosity, global perspectives, and real‑world connections into learning. I prioritize building strong relationships by creating a supportive, respectful environment where students feel valued and confident taking academic risks.
