Bonjour! Je m'appelle Andrea Mumford. Hello! My name is Andrea Mumford. Years ago, I got the teaching bug working as an English language assistant at a high school in Normandy, France. From the moment I first stepped into the classroom, I knew that teaching was my calling! My classes are engaging, dynamic, and effective. I often incorporate music into lessons to help reinforce concepts and to expose students to a variety of French-speaking cultures. I am patient, encouraging, and embrace a very student-centered approach to teaching. Learning a new language is such a joy, and I am delighted to share this journey with you!
Teacher Specialization
I am a licensed teacher with 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring French to learners of all ages (preK through adult). I earned my B.A. in French and my M.A.T. in French, and am AP certified. I have taught all levels of French from beginners through AP, both in person and online.
