Bio
Hi! I’m an educator with 10+ years of experience teaching K–12 students across all core subjects, with a specialization in English Language Arts. I’m passionate about making learning engaging, individualized, and fun. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s strengths, interests, and learning needs, with the goal of building both academic skills and confidence. Creativity is a big part of my approach. I’m an award-winning screenwriter and have taught improv, sketch comedy, and clowning, which has given me unique tools for bringing humor, storytelling, and imagination into learning. I’m currently completing my doctorate in psychology and tutoring while continuing my studies. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying on track, or being challenged, I strive to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable, capable, and excited to learn.
Teacher Specialization
I specialize in English Language Arts, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, essay development, and creative writing for K–12 students. With 10+ years of teaching experience, I have also taught math, science, social studies, and other core subjects across multiple grade levels. I particularly enjoy helping students strengthen their writing skills, organize their ideas, and become more confident readers and communicators. As an award-winning screenwriter with experience teaching improv, sketch comedy, and clowning, I also specialize in using creativity, storytelling, and humor to make learning engaging and memorable. I individualize instruction based on each student’s learning style, strengths, interests, and academic goals. As I complete my doctorate in psychology, I bring an understanding of learning, development, and motivation to my tutoring approach.
