Bio
I believe students learn best when instruction is engaging, differentiated, and tailored to their individual strengths and needs. I prioritize meaningful feedback that helps students reflect, grow, and feel confident in their progress, using a student-centered approach that celebrates effort and encourages curiosity. My goal as a tutor is to help students build strong academic skills while also fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a genuine love of learning. I’m committed to supporting student growth, both academically and personally, and helping each learner reach their full potential. I strive to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. Building strong relationships is at the heart of my teaching, and I work hard to establish trust and connection with each learner. I’m a certified K–8 teacher with a passion for both math and writing.
Teacher Specialization
I have worked in education since 2016, teaching a variety of grade levels from Pre-K through 6th grade. I’ve taught both in-person and online, with experience in 1st grade, 4th grade, and currently 6th grade mathematics. I hold certifications in K–8 Mathematics and English Language Arts and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with honors in 2020 from Oakland University. In 2024, I completed my Master of Science in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology to deepen my expertise in virtual instruction.
