Bio
Hello! My name is Anna Luna and I am a TIA designated Examplary Educator from Texas. I am certified to teach Early Childhood to 6th Grade, Special Education from Kindergarten to 12th grade and English as a Second Langauge in all grade levels. My content specialty is English Language Arts and Reading and my teaching philosophy is centered around making learning engaging and stress-free, building connections between content and real life, helping kids become better humans and the world a better place.
Teacher Specialization
I've been a Special Education for a year and a half, specializing in Dyslexia Intervention, working with students with a wide range of disabilities. Prior to becoming a SPED teacher, I was a 5th Grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher for three years. During those three years I conducted tutoring during and after school hours to help my students experience success. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I was an interventionist for 4th grade Reading, Writing and Math.
