Bio
I am an elementary educator with 9 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students grow in confidence and understanding. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mom to two young children, ages 2 and 4. Being a parent has deepened my appreciation for how children learn and grow, and it continually reminds me how important patience, encouragement, and confidence-building are in the learning process. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when they are given the proper tools, support, and encouragement. My goal as a tutor is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. I love helping students have those “aha!” moments when a concept finally clicks and they realize they are capable of more than they thought. Whether a student needs extra support, confidence-building, or enrichment, I strive to make learning clear, engaging, and empowering.
Teacher Specialization
I have 9 years of classroom teaching and for 7 of those years, I have taught 3rd grade math and science, where I developed a strong love for helping students build the foundational skills that set them up for long-term success. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and truly enjoy making learning engaging, approachable, and meaningful.
