Bio
Hello, my name is Aubrey Cooper. I believe that every student should have a supportive learning environment that focuses on their strengths. I believe in fostering critical thinking and problem solving skills. I enjoy learning from my students the most. Teaching brings me great joy where I can be creative in my teaching techniques. I have been working with children in Title 1 schools in Georgia for many years before working in rural communities in Alaska over the last 9 and a half years. I have a Master's in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. I love working with students from diverse backgrounds and with unique needs. I enjoy working with students to find ways that meet their learning needs with engaging activities.
Teacher Specialization
I have unique experiences with teaching over the last 18 years in Education. I have worked closely with preschool students, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I have been working with students with diagnosed disabilities . I have been tutoring over the last 13 years in my community. I am looking forward to online tutoring as my next adventure.
