Hello! My name is Autumn Hamilton and I am excited to be your tutor! I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable with their teacher. I take time to get to know every student and give them a say in their own learning. Students generally will have a choice of activities to work on and will be able to guide the direction of the sessions to the best of their ability, with guidance from me. I aim to help each student reach their potential, both academically and personally. I am committed to helping students thrive and feel more confident in their work. Strong relationships with students is key for successful learning. My favorite animal is the dachshund, so you will be seeing a lot of them during sessions. :)
Teacher Specialization
I am an 8th Grade Science Teacher with a background in elementary education. I am starting my 6th year of teaching with the 2024-2025 school year. 3 of those years are at ISOK Middle School and the other three are teaching grades 1-5.
