Bio
I am passionate about making learning accessible and enjoyable for every student. My extensive background spans a wide array of subjects at both the elementary and secondary levels.I have taught overseas, in public schools, private schools, and charter schools. Every student is unique and capable. It is my job to help students see their wonderful abilities and talents. I believe in fostering a supportive environment where students feel empowered to explore and ask questions, while we focus on their academic goals. My dedication to teaching is driven by the joy of seeing students succeed and grow, and I bring a wealth of creative strategies to ensure they do just that. Whether it's through engaging lessons or personalized academic coaching, my goal is to inspire a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Teacher Specialization
With a Masters' Degree in Special Education and 30 years of teaching experience, I have taught online to students all over the world. I have taught all grade levels as a substitute. I have taught extensively in the elementary school as a general music specialist as well as ELA and social studies. I have taught Special Education more intently these past 5 years. I have extensive training in the Science of Reading as well as the Barton Reading System. I understand the need for fidgets, breaks, and changing up the way we teach and learn.
