Bio
Hi there! My name is Bianca Ragone and I have taught in the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia and Cambodia, and here in the U.S. in the states of Hawaii and Florida. I enjoy living in tropical environments, and I love being close to the sea. My favorite hobby is surfing, but I also like going for walks with my dogs, writing, music, cooking vegetarian food, and exploring nature. I think it is so important to stay curious and maintain a growth mindset, and I hope for the same for all my students. I want to inspire my students with passion and enthusiasm for what we are learning about together. I have been teaching and tutoring in virtual classrooms since 2019, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be connected to learners of all ages and backgrounds, from all over the world.
Teacher Specialization
I am a highly qualified Elementary, Special Education and English Language teacher with a Master’s degree in education (K-12 special education major) from the University of Florida. I specialize in Differentiated Instruction, PreK-K Literacy, and K-8 ELA. I have more than 11 cumulative years of professional teaching experience, including 5 years of ELA and ESOL in Grades PreK-12th grade; 3 years teaching all subjects in Elementary Education (K-2); and 3 years of Special Education (PreK-5).
