Hello my name is Bonnie and I am so excited to work with you! My teaching philosophy demonstrates the concept of having fun while learning. As a tutor, I provide clear explanations, encourage critical thinking, and offer timely, constructive feedback that helps students build confidence, master concepts, and achieve their academic goals. My goal as a tutor is to help students achieve academic success by strengthening their understanding of mathematics while building confidence and independent problem-solving skills. I am committed to fostering critical thinking, supporting each student's personal and academic goals to help them reach their full potential. I aim to build positive, respectful relationships with every student by creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. By fostering trust and open communication, I help students gain confidence, stay motivated, and reach their full potential.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught online for 12 years at the elementary school level, middle school,high school, and as an adjunct professor for online college courses. I have taught full-time as a virtual math teacher for both middle and high school. I hold a bachelors of science degree in mathematics, a masters in mathematics and secondary education, and teaching certificates in New York and New Jersey.
