Bio
Hello. I am a teacher with decades of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have taught at four different high schools and tutored for many years as my military family moved around the US. I am a mom of four, the last of whom just graduated from high school. I love helping students conquer any math nervousness and develop confidence and competence in their ability to truly understand and conquer challenges. My experience leads to my conviction that everyone can learn. I hope students enjoy the journey. It can be humbling to face an unknown topic. The teacher must be clear, patient and warm to nurture an environment where trying is respected and valued. I know that every student has intrinsic worth. I look forward to our interactions!
