Bio
Hi! I'm Mrs. Gaudet! As a teacher, I firmly believe that relationship with students is key to their learning success and aim to make students feel comfortable and give reassurance as needed in the classroom. I love to joke around with "my kids" while we are accomplishing our educational goals. There's nothing like a good pun or "dad joke" in the middle of a session! I am a wife of 15 years and mom to 4 little humans, ages 9, 7, 4, and 1.5. My hobbies include reading mystery novels, watching junky reality television, spending time outside with my family, cooking new recipes, and taking naps when I can sneak them in (which is a challenge with 4 kiddos!)
Teacher Specialization
I have a total of 7 years teaching experience in a variety of settings and grade levels. I specialize in teaching students with learning differences. I received my dual Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Alabama in the areas of K-6 Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education. After college, I taught for two years in brick and mortar school at the elementary level. I took some time off to have children, and I'm in the middle of my 5th year teaching virtual special education.
