Hello! I'm an educator with a passion for helping students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and discover the joy of learning. I am known for my patience, encouragement and dedication to helping students succeed. My teaching philosophy is that every child can thrive when instruction is personalized, engaging, and delivered in a supportive environment where mistakes are viewed as opportunities to grow. I strive to create lessons that inspire curiosity, foster independence, and help students reach their full academic potential. Families appreciate my positive, compassionate approach and my commitment to helping students feel confident, capable, and motivated to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.

I have been an educator for over 30 years and hold amaster's degree. My teaching experience includes working with K–12 students in both classroom and online learning environments. I have provided virtual instruction in reading, mathematics, writing, and language arts through one-on-one and small-group tutoring, adapting lessons to meet each student's individual learning needs and goals. I am experienced in using interactive online platforms to keep students engaged while providing personalized instruction, ongoing feedback, and targeted skill development. My approach emphasizes building strong foundational skills, increasing student confidence, and helping learners become independent thinkers. I have worked with students of varying abilities, including those who need additional academic support as well as those seeking enrichment.
