Bio
Hello! My name is Ms. Brianna and I love to read. I also have two beagles and I love the beach. A fun fact about me is that I used to work in Walt Disney World when I was in college. I think it's important to become a lifelong learner because it allows you to grow in ways you never thought possible. I also think students learn best when they can trust and relate to the person they're working with. My goal with tutoring is to help students feel more comfortable with content and to gain confidence within themselves to continue their journey of learning. I also want students to develop a love for learning, so they continue to seek out new ways of learning. I can be a serious educator, but I also like to have fun and joke around with my students. I think that helps to take the pressure off, so students don't have as much stress during the learning process.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching in schools since 2017, but I've been teaching dance since 2007. Through teaching dance to various ages, levels, and specialties, that has allowed me to hone my teaching skills and directly transfer them to the classroom. I have taught in all grade levels from daycare through high school. I am most comfortable teaching math, reading, and writing, but I have taught science and social studies as well. I currently teach middle school special education. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Language Arts. I also have a Master's Degree in Instructional Design in Education. I currently have a Level I Certification, and I am in the process of obtaining my Level II Certification.
