Bio
My name is Brianna Williams and I’m excited for the opportunity to tutor your student in history, reading, or writing! I believe in the power of online education and it's unique ability to connect students and teachers from all over the world. All students can be successful, and I pride myself on using positive teaching strategies to ensure student engagement and growth. In my tutoring sessions I incorporate discussion-based learning strategies, frequent checks for understanding, and detailed progress monitoring. I also enjoy helping students with their homework, writing assignments, and test preparation.
Teacher Specialization
I have 15 years of teaching experience, 8 of which have been online with Stride. I have taught US and World History courses at both high school and middle school levels. Additionally, I've tutored late elementary and middle school students in reading and writing. I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's Degree in History and earned my Master's Degree in Online Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University.
