Bio

I prioritize building personal connections with students before instruction, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued. Small-group instruction allows for differentiation and encourages students to ask questions. I provide feedback on their strengths ("glows") and areas for improvement ("grows"), while promoting self-assessment to build independence, confidence, and academic success. To create a supportive atmosphere, I engage students about their day, share about my family, and practice patience. I’m a married mother of three sons, and my family enjoys watching sports (Go Philadelphia Eagles!). In my spare time, I love exercising, yoga, reading, cooking, and beach trips. I chose tutoring because it aligns with my belief that small-group instruction best supports learners.
