Bio
I believe that every child can learn and will strive to meet your child where they are to move them forward in their learning journey. I love to use songs, games and interactive activities to make learning fun. I will provide a safe, non-threatening environment that enables improvement. My goal is to help your child improve reading and math fluency alongside building the character traits needed for greater learning success, such as patience and persistence. I believe in developing rapport and showing genuine interest in your child. This is a safe space where we will encourage learning and celebrate success. I have lived and taught in 4 different countries; Eswatini, South Africa, Thailand, and the U.S. I love to show children that there is joy in learning.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching in the classroom for 25 years alongside tutoring individual students including 2 years of online teaching classes, individuals, and small groups. I have a great deal of experience teaching ELL students. I am a highly qualified teacher with a masters in K-6 Elementary Education as well as full ESOL Certification.
