I am a passionate and results-driven educator with experience teaching both elementary and high school students, specializing in English and special education. I pride myself on helping students build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve real academic growth. Whether I’m working with younger learners on foundational skills or supporting high school students with complex reading and writing tasks, I create engaging, supportive environments where students feel successful. My teaching philosophy is simple: meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence. I use data-driven strategies, personalized support, and strong relationship-building to keep students motivated and accountable. I am a results-driven ELA and special education teacher with 15+ years of experience helping students build skills, confidence, and independence. I’ve worked across elementary and high school settings—including special education, self-contained classrooms, and alternative programs—and bring nearly 1 year of virtual teaching experience. I specialize in turning struggling readers and writers into confident learners through targeted instruction, IEP-aligned supports, and engaging one-on-one and small group sessions. I also help students strengthen organization and executive functioning skills that lead to real academic success. I hold a Master’s in Education Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education (multi-cat with Autism) and Pre-K (including Special Education). I focus on measurable growth, personalized support, and helping every student reach their full potential.
