Bio

Hello, my name is Mrs. Corey Ford and I am about to start my 18th year of teaching! I have experience with teaching upper elementary students in a traditional and virtual environment. I believe that all students should be given the opportunity to learn in a way that best works for their brain! Not all students learn the same way, but they all can achieve their goals. My ultimate goal, as a classroom teacher, is to help students grow confident in who they were uniquely created to be!

Teacher Specialization

I have experience teaching virtually for 3 years at a STRIDE school. I have tutored students 1-on-1 in person and virtually. I like tutoring virtually because it gives me very focused time with students and allows me to tailor my teaching to student's individual needs. I really love tutoring in the area of math and writing. I believe that 1-on-1 sessions lend themselves to being really beneficial in the area of writing!
