Bio

Hi there, My name is Corryne. I love growing plants and taking care of animals for fun. I have been a science geek for most of my life and I love teaching others! I believe students learn best when they are in an environment that encouraging, challenging and fun. I believe that people need to have fun in order to learn just as much as I believe that students need to be challenged. In real-life, I grow plants in the winter with shop lights in my home for enjoyment and food because one of my favorite activities is getting "challenging" plants to grow. My goal for my students is to help them succeed at their education so their lives can be beneficial. I believe that students need to have fun in order to learn.

Teacher Specialization

I have taught approximately four years, truthfully a little longer than four. I have taught Special Education, Mathematics, 8th grade Science, Chemistry, and Physics. I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Secondary Education. I have 38 credits towards a Master of Science in Recreation with a Concentration in Management of Leisure Services. My Master's was about the fun side of learning and how to facilitate that better. I hope that you have fun when I am tutoring you. My teaching has spanned from Pre-School to Young Adult. I have worked at daycare, camps and in many circumstances. I work well with people individually and small groups, though I have taught classes over 30+ students as well! I taught asynchronously and synchronously during Covid for about two years. My specialization is bringing a lot of knowledge to the table and using it to help my students have succeed.
