Bio
As a certified educator, I’ve embraced online tutoring as a way to provide flexible, personalized support that meets students where they are. My educational philosophy centers on building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and helping students develop the skills they need to become independent learners. In my sessions, I use interactive tools, screen sharing, visual aids, and adaptive strategies to keep students engaged and make complex concepts easier to understand in a virtual setting. I prioritize clear communication, regular feedback, and creating a welcoming digital space that feels just as supportive as in-person learning. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them feel capable, motivated, and confident in their ability to learn and grow. I believe that with the right support and encouragement, every student can succeed—no matter the distance.
Teacher Specialization
My online tutoring experience includes teaching in virtual environments through platforms such as VIPKid as well as providing remote instruction during school closures. I have extensive classroom experience teaching upper elementary students, specifically 5th and 6th grade math and English language arts. I hold a degree in K–6 Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement for grades K–8. My background in both general and special education allows me to effectively support diverse learners in a virtual setting. My specializations include differentiated instruction, individualized learning support, foundational math and literacy skill development, and building student confidence through structured academic support.
