Bio
Hello, I am Mrs. Brewer. I am so excited to be on this learning journey with you! I believe that the world is full of experiences that we never stop learning from. That's why I love traveling and why I love teaching, because I am constantly learning and helping those around me learn too. I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and fun learning environment for all my students to ask questions and learn. I believe that learning should be fun for everyone and I love to incorporate games and other interactive tools to make learning fun. Online learning brings so much to the table and is a great way for all students to learn and grow in any environment and I am excited to be able to encourage and help those students on their learning journey.
Teacher Specialization
I have Bachelor's Degrees in both Elementary Education and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing as well as Endorsements in Reading and English as a Second Language. I taught 1.5 years as an English as a Second Language teacher in a Spanish speaking community. I currently teach first grade, where I have been for the past 4 years; the first half a year was all online before moving to in person learning. I have also done in person tutoring for the last 3 years.
