Bio
Hello! My name is Dr. Craig Hall. I have a PhD in education, have taught 7th-12th grade English for over 20 years. Over the course of my career, the teaching philosophy I have figured out is that students learn new information when it is connected to what they already know. I want to know what students do well, and guide them through any adjustments that need to be made. My goal for those I tutor is to be able to increase the confidence have in themselves. When they feel that they can do it, they are willing to take risks while showing what they know. Getting to know the students, and letting them get to know me is very important in building relationships. Without showing our human sides, working on English assignments can become difficult. I have taught in Nevada, Texas, and Abu Dhabi. I have noticed that all kids want to be treated with respect, and they need help removing barriers to success. I will do my best to help students to improve and reach their goals.

Years in education - 25 Virtual education experience - Teaching online during Covid was my introduction. I have also taught student success classes online at the university level Grade levels and content areas taught - 7th-12th grade English; all levels Degrees - Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education; Master of Science in Community Counseling; PhD in Teacher Education Specializations - I love teaching literature at the secondary level, and student success classes at the university level
