Bio
Hello from Ohio! I am excited to meet you and help you soar with your learning of reading and math. Teaching lessons through game based learning and having lessons that are interactive help your child learn the information. The students will have a safe environment where they can ask questions and practice what they are learning. Everyone learns by exploring and engaging in activities. My husband and I are still exploring regularly by traveling with our camper and going to new places.
Teacher Specialization
I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education (K-8) and a masters degree in Educational Leadership. For 34 years, I have taught first and second grade in a public school. For three years, I taught English online to foreign students using my TESOL certification. Most recently I took courses in Science of Reading through the state of Ohio. For 6 years, I have also been a Math Club Coach where we play games using math strategies.
