Hello! I am Danielle Harber, a seasoned teacher and tutor passionate about guiding students with academic difficulties towards academic triumph. My unique approach integrates a multisensory, systematic, and structured methodology, tailored to unlock each learner's full potential. Connecting with students on a personal level is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I believe that fostering strong connections lays the foundation for effective learning. As a result, my sessions are characterized by empathy, understanding, and a commitment to addressing individual needs. Through creative methods, interactive activities, I strive to make each session not only informative but also a source of inspiration for my students.

Teacher Specialization

With over 25 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, I bring a comprehensive background in supporting diverse learners across a wide range of needs. I hold a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities from Furman University and a Bachelor's in Special Education from Clemson University, along with certifications in Multi-Category Special Education, Learning Disabilities, and Emotional Disabilities for Grades K–12. My training includes 60 hours of Orton-Gillingham Associate Level instruction, and I have served in leadership roles as both a Special Education Director and Coordinator. I am also trained in executive function strategies, equipping me to support students in developing the skills they need for lasting academic success.
