Bio
My name is Dara! I love to sing and spend a lot of my free time volunteering at my local church with the youth. I've been in the classroom the past several years, but took a break from teaching to pursue missions work full-time by participating in an internship program with my church. I believe all students learn best when their education is especially tailored to their learning style! I provide specific and immediate feedback to help build confidence in the learner. I aim to help the student become more independent and confident with their learning, improving skills they can use in and outside of the classroom. I am committed to seeing progress in their academics! "Students don't learn from people they don't like." Building meaningful relationships through showing care and follow-up for the topics that matter most to the child are key to successful learning!
Teacher Specialization
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach Elementary K-6, Math 5-9, and also hold an active ESOL and Reading Endorsement. While I love all subjects, I specialize in math!
