Bio
My name is Deneal Justice. I am an experienced teacher with a life long passion for teaching and learning. I believe it is important to take the time to understand how a student learns best with different strategies, activities and manipulatives to support them. Part of the learning journey includes assessments to highlight mastery of skills. I believe that using a variety of assessments that give students the opportunity to show/prove/explain their work is the best. It is important for students to know how they learn and assess best to become successful life-long learners. When I am not teaching, I enjoy anything outdoors: hiking, biking, pickleball, hockey and spending time with my family. I think it is helpful for students to be able to connect what they are learning to what they enjoy, so we will take some time to explore those things that you love and how they connect to the subject we are practicing. After all, I am helping to prepare you for your role in the "real world!"
