Bio
Hello! I am Donna K. and I am excited to meet you and help you become more confident and skilled in your mathematical abilities. As one of our Founding Father's, Ben Franklin, stated, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” I fully believe in the equity of learning through personalization and differentiated instruction. I am bringing twenty-nine years of experience with me in a variety of settings, including private, public, and on-line. In my career, I have been nominated for teacher of the year, I have coached high school swimming and diving, and I have served on a county human resources recruitment team. As for my classroom personality, you will find an interactive teacher who promotes an enthusiastic classroom, one who is empathetic and supportive striving to prioritize relationships, and one that is proactive in fostering innovation and creative thinking in the students with whom I have the privilege of working.
