Bio
I am a mathematics educator with over eight years of experience teaching students in grades 6–12, from Pre-Algebra through Precalculus. I hold a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Mathematics and am passionate about designing engaging learning experiences that make challenging concepts accessible to every learner. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence alongside competence—I believe students learn best when they feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to think critically. Throughout my career, I have consistently earned Highly Effective evaluations and helped students achieve strong academic outcomes through data-informed instruction and meaningful relationships. My teaching style is patient, energetic, and student-centered. I strive to create an environment where curiosity is valued, mistakes become opportunities for growth, and every student believes they are capable of succeeding in mathematics.
