Bio
I believe students learn best through engaging, student-centered instruction tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. I prioritize clear, constructive feedback that fosters confidence and supports academic growth. My goal is to help students build a strong understanding of content while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I’m committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and resilience. By building positive, respectful relationships and listening to students’ needs, I help them feel valued and motivated to learn. I became a tutor because I’m passionate about helping students discover their strengths and realize they’re capable of more than they imagined. I’ve taught in Latin America, speak some Spanish. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crafting, reading, and exploring new cultures.
Teacher Specialization
I have over 7 years of experience in education. I hold a Texas teaching certificate for Core Subjects Grades 4-8 and Science Grades 7-12. I have one year of experience teaching middle school Math and six years of experience teaching various Science courses including Science 6-8, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy and Physiology in both public schools in the US and international schools. I have more than one year of experience tutoring Math 6-8 and Algebra I and all levels of Science online. I hold a BA in International Studies and a MBA.
