Bio
I believe learning can happen when instructions are clear and concise. I believe everyone is capable of learning and growing with a positive mindset. My goal is to help you with things that are confusing or hard. I will be patient and vary my teaching so it can be understood. I love getting to know my students and build lessons around their interests. I always start my sessions with fun questions and/or a game. I love being in the outdoors whether it's skiing, biking, hiking or paddleboarding. I love tutoring because in a small group or one-on-one you can get the help you need to move forward.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught K-12 Spanish, EL science, math and language arts, elementary reading and math for over 10 years. I learned Spanish and have been a Spanish teacher for many years. I have also taught English as a second language to kids and adults. I have tutored online for 4 years to kids from different places and backgrounds. I have a degree in Spanish, culturally and linguistically diverse education and social emotional learning.
