Bio
Hi, I'm Erin Yates and I'm excited to start learning with you! I've spent 10 years working at a summer camp where I really got hands-on experience making life and learning FUN. I believe in an individualized approach to teaching that incorporates individual students' interests and educational needs. The most important thing I can do as a teacher is really listen to what the students I tutor say they need and want out of a lesson.
Teacher Specialization
I am a certified Elementary School teacher of 4 years with a Master's degree in Teaching. I spent 2 years working as a Stride/K12 teacher and was in brick and mortar schools before that. My undergraduate degree is in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. I spent my academic career tutoring college-level business courses as well as middle and high school Math.
