Bio
Hello, my students call me Dr. M for short. I love teaching and believe it is among the top 10 rewarding professions. I have been teaching for over 25 years, working in elementary, middle schools, and college/university learning environments. I am a lifelong learner. Every day presents a new learning experience for me! I love working with children and adult learners, providing tangible strategies that support the learning process. I enjoy reading, working on projects, and traveling. I always explain to my students that if they need help understanding a concept, ask; no question is ever too small. I practice "chunking" where if you can't understand the whole concept, I break it down or what I call chunk it. It makes understanding a little easier. I believe in building a genuine sense of trust accompanied by an attitude of support and high expectations. Remember your attitude determines your altitude! You got this!
