Hello, my name is Francesca Wines. Whether your child is in need of general support in reading, writing, math, social studies, or science, or they have specific needs that need to be addressed, I can help! I love making learning fun, and interactive! I especially enjoy finding fun ways to remember tricky phonics skills and turning math into fun games. My ultimate goal is helping students find a love of learning when they realize that the tricky stuff can be fun and that they CAN do it! I look forward to working with you and your child to address their needs!
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching elementary school for 5 years. I am certified in 2 states for PreK-6 grade, but most of my experience is K-2. I have also started training to get my Dyslexia Certification. My teaching experience has allowed me to see how children best learn to read and develop number sense. I have used different techniques and strategies to address common reading and math issues and found effective ways to help students with diverse needs. I would love to work with your child!
