Bio
Hello, my name is Genny Horton. I love helping students understand math! I believe that all students can succeed, and it is my intention to find what is needed so that the student is successful. When I teach students math, I show them the why so that they will understand it better and be able to retain their skills. Math is one of those subjects that build on previous concepts. I strive to ensure that my students have the foundation needed. Students & parents always have positive things to say about me. On a personal note, I love to travel and explore new things! I live in Bandera, Texas, which is the Cowboy Capital of the World! We don’t even have a horse, but we love the peace & quiet. You can reach me by phone at 281-241-9009. Teacher Specialization
I have been in education for over 30 years. I was even a campus administrator for 11 years. I missed teaching and started teaching online. I have taught math for over 20 years. Most of my experience with teaching math is with middle School. I have been an online teacher with Stride for the last 10 years so I know the platforms & tools very well! I have a passion to help students learn and understand the why with math.
