Bio
My name is Nyabuti, an international teacher from Kenya currently teaching Math 8 at Southwest Middle School under the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District in North Carolina. I am passionate about inspiring curiosity in mathematics and science, fostering critical thinking, and helping students appreciate the real-world applications of what they learn.

I am an experienced educator with over 16 years of teaching mathematics and chemistry across Grades 7–12, currently teaching Grade 8 Mathematics in North Carolina. My background includes both in-person and virtual instruction, where I have effectively used digital tools to support student engagement and achievement. I hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics, a Master’s in Applied Analytical Chemistry, and I am completing a PhD in Chemistry (expected July 2026). My specialization is in mathematics and science education, with strong expertise in analytical chemistry and quantitative problem-solving
