Bio

I am a traveling teacher and tutor with the unique experience of having taught every grade from kindergarten through 12th grade, working at least one full year with each. This diverse classroom background has given me a deep understanding of students at every stage of learning and development. I’m passionate about reading, teaching, and exploring the world—whether that means spending time by the ocean, wandering in nature, or studying spiritual topics that deepen my understanding of life and human connection. I have a particular love for English, Psychology, and Sociology, and I enjoy helping students grow not only academically but also in confidence, curiosity, and self-awareness. Wherever I go, I bring a learner’s heart, a teacher’s dedication, and a genuine appreciation for the unique journey of every student I meet.

Teacher Specialization

I am an educator with 30 years experience who embraces the dual role of both teacher and lifelong learner. I've taught every grade level from kindergarten through 12th grade, I bring a broad, flexible understanding of how students grow, think, and learn at each stage. My degree is a BA in Elem. Education with Psych and Sociology. English Language Arts, Sociology, Psychology, and Dance. I have also been actively involved in STEM education as a science fair judge and coordinator, guiding students in critical thinking, inquiry, and presentation skills. In addition to my classroom roles, I have directed and produced two plays with K–8 students, supporting their creativity, teamwork, and confidence on stage. As a facilitator, I strive to create learning environments where students feel engaged, supported, and inspired. Whether in the classroom, outdoors in nature, or within community learning spaces, I approach teaching with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
