Hello! I'm Mrs. Cerra, a sports-loving educator who loves spending time with my 3 dogs, husband, and teenage kids when I'm not teaching! I believe that everyone can learn, and I can provide the support needed to reach your learning goals while respecting any unique needs. My objective is to deliver clear, interactive instruction, while providing practice opportunities with valuable feedback, in a positive, FUN, learning environment. I look forward to supporting you on this learning journey!
Teacher Specialization
I’ve taught for 30+ years in grades 1-6 in all subject areas, including students with exceptionalities, 2 years of online teaching, and 1-on-1 tutoring. I’m certified in grades K-6 and Middle School Social Sciences 5-9, Endorsements in Reading, Civics, and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. I also train teachers in social studies instruction and evaluate and write curricula for the school district.
