Bio
I am an educator committed to building strong relationships, fostering confidence, and meeting students where they are through clear, engaging instruction and consistent support. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a positive learning environment where students feel capable and encouraged. I am patient, organized, and positive in my teaching approach, and I am especially passionate about supporting literacy development and helping students grow as confident, capable learners.
Teacher Specialization
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 3) and am currently completing my Master’s in Reading toward a K–12 Reading License. I have four years of field and student teaching experience from my undergraduate program and one year of substitute teaching. My experience is primarily with preschool through kindergarten, though I have supported students across multiple grade levels as a substitute. While I have not yet taught in a virtual classroom, I am comfortable using educational technology. I specialize in supporting elementary students in literacy by building foundational skills through clear instruction, structure, and encouragement.
