Bio
My name is Heather Quinn, and one of my greatest pleasures as a teacher is tutoring! I believe in meeting students where they are, respecting their unique needs, and developing personalized plans and goals to help them progress. I specialize in high school and college-level mathematics courses. When meeting with students, I like to assess what skills they know and what they need to learn in order to meet the targeted standard(s) by using student-friendly language and technology. Teacher Specialization
I am a mathematics educator with 20 years of experience, and have taught all levels of high school mathematics, AP Calculus AB/BC, and dual-enrollment college algebra since 2006. I have taught online since 2017, initially tutoring for a school district and then moving into a K-12 high school math teacher position. I also have extensive experience as an ACT math tutor.
