Bio

I believe students learn best when they tap into their inquisitive natures to grow in their knowledge of the world around them. In my feedback, I focus on showing students their strengths, while giving tips and steps on how to grow in areas of focus. As a tutor, I am committed to helping students reach their best potential through achievable steps, guiding their knowledge to the next level, and encouraging them to broaden their critical thinking. I enjoy getting to know my students personally so that we can build on their passions and interests. This assists me to create an environment where learning is the focus and each student can thrive. I live in the PNW, and I love fishing and hiking! I chose to become a tutor as I love working with students in smaller groups in order to help them be the most successful in their own learning journeys.

Teacher Specialization

I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College in 2020. I am a certified teacher in WA State. With 5 years of classroom experience, I have had the opportunity to teach 5th grade and 3rd grade while tutoring students on breaks. I am a passionate learner who enjoys teaching students to enjoy learning!
